True humanization - Vol.36(11), November - New Delhi Burda Media India Private Limited 2019 - 108-110p.

If we want to summarize the whole of architectural activities in one word it is– true humanization. All we are doing is essentially humanizing the world. We are shaping and reshaping this planet to the needs and aspirations of humans. All other activities are either precursor or subsequent results of humanization. Extreme sensitivity is however required to fulfil those human needs and aspirations.

The project, an affordable housing is situated in the newly developed area at Taj Nagri. When the architects were appointed for the project, it was already conceived and the construction was on a hold after partial casting of raft foundation. Careful study of the existing plans revealed that the plans were created with a mind-set of affordable segment totally ignoring the facts that the end-users were humans.

It was an 11 storey structure maximising was flanked by five star hotel Double Tree by Hilton and a green belt. To top it all when they climbed a nearby multi-storey housing they were mesmerised to see the Taj Mahal. This site was overlooking Taj Mahal from a reasonable distance.
