Natural products like saffron, those obtained from vegetables, herbs and spices could be beneficial in the prevention or treatment of a variety of diseases such as diabetes and cancer. The main object of this review article focused on the analysis of saffron and its chemical constituent with its pharmacological activities which prove saffron play good role in illness treatment and prevention. Saffron filaments which are dried, dark red stigmata of Crocus sativus L. flowers which are used as a spice, drug and also food colorant.....
