Currently, agriculture contributes about 20 per cent of the Nation’s economy. Unfortunately, many factors affect agricultural output in India, including weather variations, seed quality, market accessibility, Governmental regulations, technology, coordination, and the involvement of supply chain participants. In this regard, the Government has undertaken a variety of initiatives to increase farming output to support those involved in the agriculture supply chain. This article explores various opportunities and challenges of agricultural supply chain in India.
