Summary, etc. Solar greenhouse tunnel dryers are mostly used for moisture removal from crops. But there are some industrial applications where only production of low temperature is required. There are many factors which are responsible for raising the temperature inside the dryer viz. relative humidity, air velocity, material of cover, solar radiation, time of drying and ambient temperature etc. With the help of computational fluid dynamics the designs of solar greenhouse tunnel dryers are optimized. In this paper, simulation on solar greenhouse tunnel dryers has been done to find out the distribution of temperature achieved in the dryer after a fixed time. The model of the solar greenhouse tunnel dryer has been created in SOLIDWORKS 2018 and analyzed in SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation 2018 SP0.0. The obtained results have been validated with experimental work. The simulated model results are in close agreement with experimental results.
