Summary, etc. Super absorbent polymers (SAP) are new and promising multipurpose chemical admixture for concrete. Super absorbent polymers can absorb 300 to 400% of water from its weight. Due to this characteristics, the SAP is also used in concrete to reduce the flow of water in a crack by self-sealing. Hydrogel is one of the types of super absorbent polymers. this SAP is mainly used for agricultural purpose. In this study, cylindrical concrete sample of M25 grade was casted with different dosage of SAP. The main objective of this research is to reduce the flow of water penetrate in the concrete by developing self-sealing concrete. The two types of cracks with width 1.5 mm and 2 mm are used in this research.
