paper gives a brief review on various synthesis methods employed in the synthesizing cadmium selenide nanoparticles. The studies on properties of these particles have also been reviewed. Cadmium selenide (CdSe) nanoparticles classified uder II-VI group compound semiconductors, exhibit wurtzite and zinc blende structure.
