The main objective of the research article was to develop
UV-spectrophotometric method for the estimation of carboplatin in bulk active pharmaceutical ingredient (API).
A simple spectrophotometric method was described for the determination of carboplatin. It exhibited maximum absorbance at 230 nm. The calibration curve was found to be linear over 20 to 120 ug/ml. It had molar absorption coefficient of 2.88 L mol-1. The method can be successfully employed for faster determination of carboplatin drug
