syllabus of architecture, a demonstrative, hands-on or graphical method
would be more appropriate. Hence we started TOS studios at Rizvi College
of Architecture, Mumbai in 2010. After a couple years of trials and varied
projects being undertaken we realized that not only the student’s under-
standing improved but also their interest was rekindled in the subject. This
article shares the various projects undertaken during TOS studio. The read-
er is encouraged to try them, share feedback and hence together we nurture
the value of TOS in Architecture.
