pandemic, so did the nutraceuticals. Looking at the ever-growing
market of nutraceuticals and health supplements in recent
years, we can say that these products are positively influencing
the health of people while making impressive revenues.
In India, the use of nutraceuticals increased manifold during
the pandemic. Even the government seemed to be taking certain
positive approaches towards the traditional medicines and
nutraceuticals in order to safeguard the population from the
virus. Medical practitioners are increasingly prescribing health
supplements and nutraceuticals in post-covid recovery phase
of the patient. Moreover, growing awareness about immunity
during the pandemic resulted in increasing acceptance of such
nature-based products.
