(100 mg/kg) and tannic acid (25 mg/kg) in rats treated with carbon tetrachloride (0.15 ml/kg, i.p.). Extract and T A at the tested doses demonstrated profound steatosis degeneration and nodule formation were observed in the hepatic architecture of carbon tetrachloride treated rats which were found to acquire near to normal in extract and TA with carbon tetrachloride administrated rats, and supported the biochemical observations. This study suggests that tannic acid has more liver protective effect in comparison to extract of P. bistorta against carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatotoxicity.Item type | Current location | Call number | Status | Date due | Barcode | Item holds |
