Publisher: Kolkatta Springer 2022Edition: Vol, 103(3), June.Description: 473–483p.Subject(s): Mechanical EngineeringOnline resources: Click here In: Journal of the institution of engineers (India): Series CSummary: marine gas electric hybrid system provides solutions to the problems of poor dynamic performance and low load performance when the gas engine is the main engine of the ship. The matching and selection of the hybrid system play a key role in the efficiency and energy saving of the system. First of all, this paper gives a brief overview of the module division and topological structure of the marine gas electric hybrid system. Secondly, taking 6 K gas engine as an example, the selection of key devices and the process of parameter matching of the whole power system are given. According to the characteristics of each module of marine gas electric hybrid power system, the method of system matching selection is proposed, including motor selection and parameter matching, energy storage system selection and parameter matching, gearbox parameter matching. This method provides theoretical guidance and engineering application for further development of the optimization selection and matching of marine gas electric hybrid power system.
