The Union Government enacted the Real Estate (Development and Regulation) Act 2016 (RERA.) The Act addressed all the legal issues concerned with the buyers, sellers, promoters, developers of the real estate sector. There were lots of issues for developers on input tax credit and other issues. With a view to overcome such problems the RERA has been introduced.
