That the energy needs of a developing country like India is going to increase significantly in foreseeable future, is a well known fact. Non-Conventional Energy Sources deals with the different non-conventional energy systems such as solar energy, wind energy, energy from biomass and biogas, geothermal energy, energy from oceans, chemical energy sources, etc. It begins with fundamental and develops in a way that allows the reader expand his knowledge progressively. Throughout the book attempt has been made to present the subject matter in a simple, lucid and precise manner. Sufficient solved examples are given to illustrate the use of the equations developed in the text.
