In that the major phase called matrix alloy and the other is, generally, ceramic reinforcement. AA7075- B4C Composites are popular in automotive, aerospace and defense fields because of their high strength-to-weight ratio, wear resistance, etc. Present work is focused on the study of wear behavior of Aluminum 7075 Alloy with B4C composites prepared by using Stir Casting Technique. Two different compositions were used to prepare the composite as per ASTM G99 and tested under Pin-on-Disc wear test rig. The experiments are conducted through DoE method and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis was carried out. Under DoE method the result revealed that the applied load is the dominant variable followed by sliding speed. From SEM scans it is found that there is nonuniform distribution of B4C particulates in the matrix material.
