<br/><br/> Wullar lake is known  as Asia' s largest and probably most picturesque lake. Situated in the northern part of  Jammu and Kashmir state  of India, it has distinct position and status among all other lakes. It sustains the livelihoods of  a large section of populations by providing numerous valuable products besides acting as an importent flood absorption basin and natural reservoir for downstream hydro-power plants.
