<br/><br/> Sister Lini PN from Perambra is a<br/>radiant memory in the frontlines of<br/>the war against the dreadful Nipah<br/>virus (NiV) outbreak on 19th of May<br/>2018, in Kozhikode, Kerala. Sister Lini<br/>was contracted with Nipah virus and<br/>succumbed to death while treating a<br/>patient who is believed to be the index<br/>patient of the deadly NiV outbreak.<br/>In appreciation of the commendable<br/>efforts and services of sister Lini, Hon.<br/>President of India Sri Ram Nath Kovind<br/>conferred her with National Florence<br/>Nightingale award 2019. The bus bay<br/>at Kallode, Perambra is a memorial in<br/>honor of the selfless and caring nurse<br/>Lini PN.
