<br/><br/> Bushing are key elements of the electric supply system, allowing power transformers and circuit breakers to operate effectively -A bushing is a device to allow a conductor to pass through a barrier; it has an insulting medium which must be sustained to prevent passage of current to ground. It is the dielectric properties of the insulating medium which are tested off-line and which are monitored on-line for diagnostic purposes.
