<br/><br/> This paper tries to understand the spatially inclusive economic growth parameters in<br/>urban planning. As the urban development in most of the cities in India is envisioned<br/>and implemented through master plans. Therefore, it is important to understand the<br/>strategies towards inclusive economic growth within the framework of master plans. The<br/>author observes that Special Investment Region SIRs are based on integrated approach.<br/>A Special Investment Region (SIR) is not merely export-oriented but it is also focusing<br/>on FDI boosting strategies and it offers a range of services that compliance with local /<br/>regional planning. The paper identifies the prospects under which the economic policies<br/>can comply with master plans for achieving sustainable integrated development.
