In tourism literature, competitiveness has been expanded into the sustainability of the destinations. This paper tends to apply the 'Destination Competitiveness Concept' to select the most optimum destinations among the 7 Archaeological Survey of India protected, UNESCO World Heritage Sites for site management and service enhancement. In this paper profitability and sustainability of the site is measured by its tourism data related to annual tourist inflow, annual revenue and expenditure.
