520 _aThis paper presents a fully integrated, low transmit-power and high-efficiency power amplifier (PA) for low-power transmitters such as wireless sensor networks (WSN). Power Amplification is a major problem in power system network all over the world, which is illegal and should be strictly prohibited, it is highly impossible due to the linear relation between Voltage and Current. Power amplification can be defined as the amplification of the electrical power without any contract with the Voltage and Current relation. As far as Ferranti effect in a power system is concerned, the receiving end voltage is higher than sending end voltage. Whenever power is amplified in a high level, problems like power cut, power transmission, generation and even major problems in a power system can be addressed. So, Amplification is the process of increasing the magnitude of a variable quantity, especially the magnitude of voltage, power, or current, without altering any other quality. It is a ratio between two values which does not imply that the output value is greater than the input value. Transistors are devices that can amplify a signal in a circuit. A transistor requires very little current to perform so, releases little or no heat. however, heat also depends upon its configuration. It is used in different things, such as an amplifier, oscillator, rectifier, switch, etc. Also, the effectiveness of bulk-drive technique on faster switching and increasing efficiency have been evaluated. It has been proved that this technique leads to increase the efficiency of switching PAs. This PA delivers a range of output power from 2.7 to 7.2 dBm with a supply voltage range from 500 to 850 mV while achieving overall power efficiency range of 57.3–60.7%.
