Water is critical element of our social and economic life. The most primary and crucial requirement of water is considered to be its domestic/household requirement. Karnataka is a water stressed state. In recent times what we are seeing is that demand for water is increasing and the supply is decreasing and both the things are happening due to various reasons. The present paper focuses mainly on demand, supply and gap of water in belagavi city.
