The main objective of the research is to study the impact of information technology on the functioning of commercial banks. This research aims to measure the service satisfaction of the customers in the selected five banks, measure the awareness level of information technology and the software packages among the executives employed in the selected five banks and to know the customer psyche with respect to bank loyalty in a better way with reference to implementation of information technology in banks and to figure out behavioral pattern of bank customers exhibited across product categories offered by banks.
