The IIA Young Architects Festival, YAF 2024, took
place at Alila Diwa Resort at Goa, with the theme
transitioning from ‘Interpreting the Vernacular’ to
‘Inspirations from the Vernacular’. The event, held
on 27 – 28 September 2024, generated great energy
and enthusiasm from Team IIA Goa.
This year’s theme, Vernacular, prompted reflections
on the directions and insights the Festival could
provide. Speakers were carefully selected through
extensive deliberation, offering a blend of experience
while showcasing young practices.
