Summary, etc. In present research paper, Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System (GIS) techniques were used to comparative evaluation of linear, relief and aerial morphometric parameters of the two sub-watersheds namely TE-49 and TE-39 having different geologic and physiographic setup in the part of Bori-Chikli watershed, Jalgaon, Maharashtra.

The area of TE-49 and TE-39 watershed extent crier about 206.56 sq.km and 92.177 sq. km respectively. Geologically, TE-49 is composed of basalticflows (simple and compound) with E-W, NW-SE and N-S trending dykes and TE-39 is of alluvium. Area of TE-49 watershed is having poor to moderate groundwater prospecting zones and of TE-39 having good to excellent groundwater prospecting zones.

The morphometric analysis of 7E-49 and TE-39sub-watersheds show sub-dendritic and parallel to sub parallel drainage pattern. Drainage motphometric analysis has been carried out by estimating linear aspects like stream number, stream order, stream length, mean stream length, stream length ratio, bifurcation ratio, length of oierland flow, drainage pattern; aerial aspects like circulatory ratio, elongation ratio, drainage density and relief aspects like basin relief relief ratio, relative relief and ruggedness number.

It is an attempt to analyses the morphometric parameters of two sub-watersheds under different geologic and physiographic conditions. Morphometric analysis is one of the essential analysis required for development and management of watershed. Key Words: Morphometric Analysis, Bori-Chikli watershed, Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System.
