Now, in the Information era, architecture has to be a technological platform, in which bits, connectivity, new materials, and nanotechnology are important. Connections are more relevant than materials. Its complex façade, made of ETFE, represents digital construction, the construction of of information. It responds to the user s necessity: when too much direct sunlight, the ETFE skin protects the inside. When light is needed it opens itself and lets the daylight in.
