| Summary, etc. | With the rapid growth of wireless communication across the world, technologies like WiMax and WiFi play a significant role. Here, the frequency and wave propagation has to be done at the terrestrial level to establish a portable telecommunication process. The term frequency spectrum management illustrates various procedures which are aimed to provide the operation of different radio communications at any time without causing any interference. Allocation of the proper frequency band involves providing a high data rate for the transformation of information and reducing the optimum amount of interference. The choice of frequency band depends on the location. Based on this location we need to choose which frequency band is available (licensed or unlicensed) under the technologies such as WiFi or WiMax and supporting the propagation models and planning tools (for designing the network) in order to pass the signals without interference. In this paper, the author focused on the Frequency Band Management of Electromagnetic Spectrum in the range of 2.4 GHz to 60 GHz, and compared the licensed and un-licensed bands using the WiFi and WiMax technologies. |
