| Summary, etc. | The paper discusses Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) of PV systems using the Cuckoo Search (CS) algorithm. CS has numerous advantages, including a simple tuning procedure with great efficiency and quick convergence. In the search procedure, Cuckoo employs a random walk based on Levy flight. MPPT is compared to other techniques P & O using CS. Direct duty cycle control is used with a DC-DC converter. The findings demonstrate that CS can track MPP under various operating circumstances with fewer power losses, compared to other techniques. |
