| Summary, etc. | About the Firm:<br/>Studio Vigitham is an ‘Architecture + Design Research studio’<br/>founded by four young Architects. Having collaborated on<br/>diverse projects of varying scales for three years, we made<br/>the decision to formally establish our firm in 2021 based at<br/>Erode, Tamilnadu.<br/>Our Philosophy:<br/>The way we understand architecture is that it involves<br/>creating new lifestyles to experience while also focusing on<br/>the environmental impact, functionality, and practicality of<br/>individual spaces and structures. The primary objective of the<br/>space is to not only fulfill the functional requirements of its<br/>users, but also to prioritize nature as the central element of the<br/>building. We strive to minimize the square footage of built areas<br/>and educate users on what spaces are truly necessary for the<br/>design program. We acknowledge the economic and locational<br/>limitations of the project in achieving an efficiently built<br/>environment. Therefore, we take on the challenge of developing<br/>alternative solutions to effectively meet our design goals. |
