This article tries to discuss various issues involved and pertinent issues to be resolved.<br/>Building bye-laws are meant to regulate growth within urban areas. Building construction can be broadly classified into:<br/>1. buildings approved by competent authorities.<br/>2. Buildings not approved by competent authorities.<br/>there is a general understanding among the people that there are a large number of unauthorized constructions, which include not only unapproved buildings but also deviations from the sanctioned plan. This led to the idea of building regularisation. |
