| Summary, etc. | The city of Mumbai has been growing at an alarming<br/>rate. To respond to this phenomenal growth, the<br/>infrastructure of the city has been going through<br/>constant upgradation. It thus becomes imperative for<br/>students of architecture to develop an understanding<br/>of urban issues and gain a basic introduction of urban<br/>planning that inculcates a sense of responsibility<br/>towards their role as architects. The aim of this article<br/>is to understand the pedagogical approach and the<br/>process of content development to be adopted for<br/>conducting the Urban Planning Studio for Semester<br/>9 for undergraduate students of architecture. For the<br/>purpose of the study, the methodology developed<br/>has been divided into two parts. |
