The age of the patient does not show a major difference in the development of depression and anxiety. PCOS women who married and have children (n=45) were mostly affected with depression (n=39) and anxiety (n=43). Menstrual irregularity in PCOS patients with depression and anxiety is majorly seen among those who have last menstrual between 30–60 d. Middle-income patients were affected by depression and anxiety greatly, according to this study.

Conclusion: We conclude that the prevalence rate of depression and anxiety is greater in PCOS patients. |
