Review on Techniques for Solar Still Efficiency Enhancement

The most commonly employed methods used by researchers is focused on Phase Change Material and Energy Storage Material, which would generate distillate during the day. The specification of Phase Shift Materials and Energy Storage Materials is based on thermal conductivity. The cooling of the exterior surface of the glass cover provides a strong temperature differential between the glass cover and the water, which improves the rate of evaporation and condensation and decreases the environmental impact by creating a thin layer above the surface.
