Construction of steel bridge in lieu of conventional PSC girder bridge across Tungabhadra River near Mantralaya on State Highway SH-13 of Karnataka connecting Andhra Pradesh

The bridge was damaged and 5 piers, including 16 decks, were washed out, and one pier was tilted. The flooding was so furious that the holy Mutt and its surroundings were flooded and submerged.
