Use of treated sewage for irrigation purposes has emerged an important way to utilize its nutrients and removal of its pollution load by growing tolerant species. In the present study, impact of secondary treated sewage has been studied on the growth, productivity and some physiological parameters of Hordeum Secondary treated effluent was examined for its chemical constituents (pH, electrical conductivity, total suspended solids, t dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand and phosphorus) and effects of its various dilutionson growth & productivity of barley Percentage of seed germination, root-shoot length, chlorophyll content and biomass estimation were studied. Full the growth and productivity of Hordeum vulgare indicating the utility of secondary treated sewage as a potential source of water for seed germination and plant growth in agriculture practices.
