Though various iron removal techniques are available, need fo ra low cost method is still warranted. Point-of-use water treatment is suggested as a sustainable strategy now-a-days. Hence, development of low cost and portable domestic iron removal filter has been made accommodating small air pump and an indigenous porous concrete filter candle in top and bottom containers.
