the design for the thematic Professor
Shonku Park was conceptualized as
a tribute to the talented Satyajit Ray.
The park brings to life one of his most
affectionate and well-known science
fiction creations; an eccentric genius and
a brilliant scientist, Professor Shonku
was known for his strange inventions
and astounding adventures, and having
in the end finally flown off from earth
on a spaceship! The flow of movement
through the park consists of artistic
elements and illustrations from Professor
Shonku’s adventures at every turn and
twist providing visitors with interactive
engagement from the beginning to the
end. The idea behind the concept was to
encourage newer generations to explore
Ray’s immortal literary creations
