Sultanpur Lodhi's situated in district Kapurthala, Panjab, holds immense historical and cultural significance. The Quila Sarai stands porminently in this town, serving as a testament to the region's historical importance. The fort gained additional prominence during the 16th century when the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan is believed to have undertaken its rebuilding.
