the study is to provide a visual/ diagrammatical contribution to the literature by presenting it with a new dimension
which is more imaginable than the theoretical descriptions. The objective of the paper is to develop a visual framework
of the different elements composing the morphology and city form of medieval Amritsar. In this paper, the medieval
characteristics of the city of Amritsar have been portrayed through diagrams and a comparison has been established
between the medieval and the current states of the different physical elements to identify problems pertaining to
the conservation of the historic character of the city
