Neem (Azadirachta indica) one of the important herbal product has gained substantial recognition due to its multifaceted therapeutic effect. This comprehensive review aims to elucidate the therapeutic beneficial effects of neem across various health domains Neem's pharmacological profile encompasses its potent antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory attributes. Itcontains 60 different types of biochemically active components including steroids and terpenoids. It has bioactive compounds like nimbin, nimbidin, and azadirachtin. The therapeutic effect ofneem extends prominently into dermatology, showcasing efficacy in addressing skin disorders such as acne, eczema, and dermatitis due to its antimicrobial and anti- inflammatory prowess. Additionally, neem extracts shows wound healing properties, promoting tissue regeneration and helps in the management of various wounds and ulcers.
