N2  - In the present study, the hexane: chloroform fraction of Indigofera trita has been subjected to gas chromatography mass spectroscopy (GC-MS) analysis. Thirty phytochemical constituents have been identified. The major chemical constituents are phthalic acid, di(2-propylpentyl) ester, hexadecane, 1-[trans-4-(1-fluoro-2-iodoethyl)cyclohexyl]-trans-4-(3,4-difluorophenyl) cyclohexane, eicosane and 1- methyl-1-(allyloxy)-1-silacopent-3-ene
