Performance Analysis of Regenerator of Liquid Desiccant Air Conditioning System

Various researches have been done on dehumidifiers and regenerators in order to enhance their performances and to overcome problems like a carryover of desiccant in direct contact type ones. In this study, an experiment was carried out and the behaviour of the regenerator in the system was studied and it was found out that as the mass flow rate of the desiccant material is varied, the specific humidity and moisture removal rate change from 6.15 to 8.75 gm/kg and 0.0680 to 0.0750 gm/s respectively.
