Synthesis and antioxidant activity of novel benzimidazolyl thiazole derivatives complemented by DFT studies

The antioxidant activity is further confirmed using theoretical parameters calculated using DFT method with 6-31G basis set. The correlation of the experimental results with calculated quantum chemical parameters indicate that all the newly synthesized compounds have good scavenging capacity.
