The isolation effect between the collector and the ground, as well as the diameter effect of the collector and the chimney height, were studied. Temperature and air velocity are the two key effective parameters which were analyzed at different points of the collector and the chimney. As the result, an increase from 61.0 to 67.9°C in the temperature at the collector was obtained with an increase in the air speed from 1.3 to 1.8m/s. Also, it was revealed that a big difference in the quantities of produced electricity resulted. The effect of isolation has remarkably improved the electrical productivity from 1.7 to 1.9W as the maximum value. Keywords and phrases: solar chimney, isolation, collector temperature, velocity, electrical power.
